From Thought to Action — Jijau Brigade’s Path of Empowerment.
A movement inspired by Jijamata, uniting women, youth, and society for lasting transformation.
Every program of Jijau Brigade is a step toward positive change. Through each initiative, we aim to spread the message of Values, Unity, and Empowerment. From self-reliance programs for women to leadership training for youth and social welfare drives — our work reflects action with purpose.
Main Categories of Programs

Women Empowerment
Empowering women socially, economically, and emotionally is at the core of Jijau Brigade’s mission. Through initiatives like “Matru Shakti Abhiyan,” “Hunar to Rojgar,” and Self-Reliance Workshops, women gain confidence, skills, and leadership.

Mahanayika Poojan
To break free from superstition and blind rituals, and to inspire an intellectual revolution, an alternative practice has been introduced — honoring great women leaders, reading their life stories, and reflecting upon their teachings

Social Service & Community Work
Real change in society begins with action. Through initiatives like “Clean & Green Village,” “Health Camps,” “Blood Donation Drives,” and “Environmental Awareness,” Jijau Brigade takes responsibility for community well-being.

Education & Entrepreneurship
Education and employment are the twin wheels of progress. With Student Guidance Sessions, Career Awareness Programs, and Entrepreneurship Fairs, Jijau Brigade helps youth and students find real-world direction.

Environment & Health Awareness

Jijau Vachan Katta
The aim of the Jijau Reading Forum is to develop an interest in reading among women, helping them achieve intellectual enrichment. This platform encourages women to become speakers, writers, and literary contributors. The core purpose of this forum is not just to promote literacy among women, but to nurture true education and enlightenment.

Savitri Jijau dhasharatortsav
From January 3 to January 12, the Savitri Jijau Dhasarathotsav initiative is conducted across Maharashtra. During these ten days, various activities are organized to spread awareness and enlighten people about the thoughts and contributions of great women leaders. Competitions, cultural programs, health camps, and many other activities are held as part of this initiative. Recognizing the impact of this movement by Jijau Brigade under the Maratha Seva Sangh, the government has also acknowledged its significance, and for the past few years, this initiative has been implemented in government offices as well.

parivartnvadi Haldi–Kumkum Ceremony
In this Parivartanvadi Haldi–Kumkum Ceremony, along with married women (Suvashinī), widowed women are also respectfully invited. Instead of giving plastic containers or useless items, meaningful gifts in the form of books are offered as intellectual offerings.

Health Camps
Considering the increasing health issues among women, Jijau Brigade organizes health check-up camps to create awareness about women’s health and encourage them to undergo regular medical examinations. Expert doctors are invited for proper check-up and guidance during these camps.

Protest Petitions Rally
Jijau Brigade consistently raises its voice on important developments happening across Maharashtra. Over the years, the organization has led several protests, rallies, and submitted multiple petitions to the government against injustice. Issues concerning women’s injustice and atrocities, farmers’ struggles, students’ problems, and many other social concerns are actively taken up by Jijau Brigade to ensure justice for society. For this purpose, the organization participates in various forms of public movements — whether protests, dissent gatherings, or petition submissions — at district and taluka levels. Through these ongoing efforts, Jijau Brigade continues to maintain active involvement in social change.

Youth Development Program
The most important pillar of society is the youth. In today’s technology-driven era, value education, cultural grounding, and social awareness are often lacking among young people. To guide the youth in the right direction, Jijau Brigade organizes guidance camps, workshops, and demonstrations. These efforts help provide a strong ideological foundation and empower the younger generation. Through career guidance, social awareness sessions, and discussions on national service, the organization helps shape responsible and conscious young citizens. Girls are taught self-defense, introduced to the teachings of great leaders, and encouraged to raise their voices against injustice. Today, it is not only girls who need values and guidance—boys also need cultural grounding. Instilling the thoughts and principles of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and other great leaders in boys is essential. In many societal issues, girls are not solely responsible; the lack of values, discipline, and social awareness among boys often contributes significantly. To address this, Jijau Brigade connects the youth with this progressive thought movement and works to create a strong, healthy, and cultured generation—building a better and empowered society.

Women’s Economic Empowerment
Empowering women to become self-reliant and financially progressive is a key mission of Jijau Brigade. Women are trained in entrepreneurship, skill development, and financial literacy. Guidance and support are provided for home businesses, self-employment, and small-scale enterprises. These efforts help women build independence, confidence, and stronger decision-making abilities.
